I may need a car, but do I really need a $40 – $50,000 vehicle?
I knew a father & son in business together for years. The son had a $50,000 vehicle while the dad, older and wiser, had a $32,000 vehicle. Dad banked the $18,000 difference EVERY year and would keep racking up the dollars in his savings account from this one item alone.
The bottom line: Dad still always had a very nice vehicle, but also had an additional barrel of money accumulated just from squeezing more savings for himself (on a vehicle), from his share of their partnership earnings.
The son had only his memories of some vehicles he had in the past………..not really spendable!
It’s not only how much we earn, but how wisely we spend what we earn, without impinging on our lifestyle that will make a HUGE difference throughout the years, in our finances.
